Your Responsibilities: Own the product vision & roadmap for the sensor-control subsystem within the overall Ground Mission and Armament System Translate mission requirements, stakeholder needs and regulatory constraints into a clear product backlogDefine and communicate user stories, acceptance criteria and "Definition of Done" that reflect both functional performance and systems-engineering attributesWork hand-in-hand with the 10-person development teamCollaborate with Architects and Engineers to align sensor-control capabilities with system architecture and mission timelinesConduct backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint reviews and retrospectives, Acting as the primary liaison between the team and external stakeholdersManage risk and compliance - maintain traceability matricesEnsure that safety/mission-critical standards (e.g., DO-278C) are reflected in backlog items and verified during testingMonitor and report key performance indicators (feature completion, defect density, sensor-performance metrics, schedule variance) to senior leadershipDrive continuous improvement - introduce agile best practices, lean processes, and data-driven decision making within the teamWhen required, evaluate software architecture options and support integration of software Your Profile: Completed studies in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering or comparableCertified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) is desirableMany years of professional experience in sensor-control, avionics, autonomous systems, or other mission-critical platformsExperience as Product Owner, in Backlog Management, Stakeholder Management and Risk & Compliance ManagementExperience with DO-278, IEC 61508, MIL-STD-882, ARP4754 or similar safety /mission standardsExperience with sensor suites (RADAR, EOS, etc.), real-time data acquisition and control loopsKnowledge in delivering complex, high-stakes hardware-or-software productsSolid understanding of system life-cycle processes, requirements engineering, architecture, integration & verification (ISO/IEC 1528, INCOSE)Skills in Agile practices and ScrumSkills in developing or integrating software (Java, Linux, Git, etc.) and CI/CD concepts is a strong plusUser skills in Jira / Confluence, Doors, Cameo, Matlab / Simulink and GitFluent English skills spoken and writtenGerman skills are recommendedEnglish CV is needed Bewerbung und Rückfragen Wir freuen uns auf Bewerbungen (unter Angabe von Verfügbarkeit und Gehaltsvorstellung) gerne per E-Mail an bewerbung.aviation@orizon.de oder über unser Bewerbungsmodul auf dieser Seite.
